The Voynich Manuscript

Now, this is an interesting thing. A 200-page manuscript written in a language that cannot be identified, containing drawings of plants, stars, elaborate plumbing devices (yes)...

When it was found, it was also found to contain a letter from Rudolph II, a freakin' emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The letter dates from 1666 (the same year London burned, by the way) and asks for someone to translate or decode the manuscript. Neat! The link contains images of the manuscript.

Sorry about not updating in nearly, what, a month? two? whatever. I've been busy. I don't even know if anyone really reads this. It's just so much psuedointellectual wankery, for all I know. But huzzah for wankery!
